Tyson is Avanade’s Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Enterprise Technology Solutions. Tyson is responsible for Avanade’s technology vision and R&D investments. He also leads the worldwide strategy and team driving Avanade’s business in Application Development, Enterprise Infrastructure and Managed Services, providing solutions across the complete enterprise IT lifecycle.

Tyson joined Avanade in June 2000 and has held various positions in his seven years with the company. As a member of Avanade’s first engineering group, he was instrumental in developing solutions and assets for some of Avanade’s first key customers. Most recently, he served as Americas Chief Technology Officer, leading teams on major technology and strategy initiatives. Prior to joining Avanade, Tyson was with Accenture, where he focused on ecommerce and high-volume online transaction processing systems in high-tech, communications, and consumer products industries.

Tyson is an experienced keynote speaker and author, with particular expertise in SOA, application integration, and high-volume transaction systems.

Tyson holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.
