With more than 20 years of IT experience, Mr. Gotta is a recognized authority on business and IT strategies for improving collaboration, knowledge management, and organizational productivity. He is a trusted advisor to leading organizations and counsels clients on methods and best practices that improve workplace performance and innovation. His research in collaboration, productivity, knowledge, and learning management focuses on market trends, architecture, infrastructure, vendor analysis, and value assessment.

Mr. Gotta maintains an active research agenda in the areas of expertise automation, Web conferencing, virtual workspaces, and knowledge worker infrastructure. Before joining META Group in May 1996, he was technical product manager at Aetna, strategically involved with formulating the company's intranet and collaborative computing strategies. Mr. Gotta frequently speaks at industry events and has been quoted in numerous business and industry publications.

He received a BA in Economics from Western New England College.
