Terry Gill is the Officer of Desktop Services for DST Systems and its subsidiary companies. He has  responsibility  for all end-user computing environments including desktop, helpdesk, asset management, and  wireless services.  His group  develops strategy and provides services for desktop and mobile  computing  technology, systems management,  security,  software distibution, office automation and collaboration applications.

Terry began his career at DST as the Director of Information Technology with DST Output California  in 1996.  In 2001 he became the VP of Information Technology for DST Output and consolidated IT  infrastructure services across all regional offices.  The resulting Corporate IT organization was responsible for all network, desktop, helpdesk, server, and office automation systems, strategies, and operational support staff.

In 2003, the DST Technologies company was formed to develop an Enterprise  Information Technology (EIT) organization.  Relocated to corporate headquarters in Kansas City, Terry became the Officer of Desktop Services where he  consolidated  staff, budgets , systems, and support services into a new enterprise organization. While he centralized  HelpDesk services in KC, his group manages all  regional desktop support centers for DST financial, commercial printing, and health services businesses across  the US.  Supporting  over 15,000 systems and 120,000 annual service tickets, he and his senior staff continue to explore and implement strategies and technologies to reduce  total cost of ownership (TCO) for Desktop Services.

Terry received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Colorado University. He also completed the Masters courses in Computer Science at California State University.  He and his wife, Susan  have two high school age daughters.
