Athelene Gieseman is the Chief Information Officer for Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP.  She has spent over 20 years in law firm technology management.  She has significant experience in document management.  Most recently, SMH implemented a document management system designed to manage the firm’s millions of documents.  The system integrates fully with an electronic records management system to address the concerns of both business needs and records management needs.  The implementation of these systems involved a significant change in business processes for the firm's attorneys.  Athelene has been a speaker for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), ARMA International and a member of the Cisco IP Communications Technical Advisory Board.
