Paul Farrell

Paul Farrell has over 20 years experience in technology implementation, support and management. He started his career with Monarch Marking Systems in 1987, working in the barcoding, identification and tracking industry. Paul made a career change to Information Technology in 1995. His first IT position was working as a System’s Engineer for Ex-Cel Solutions, a VAR located in Omaha, Nebraska. In that capacity, he specialized in Novell networks and document management solutions for a number of law firms in the Omaha area. In 1999, Paul began working for Utilicorp United, which later became Aquila. He has worked in a number of different IT roles at Aquila, including IT Infrastructure Manager for the past 3 years. In this role, he leads the team of Systems Engineers responsible for all aspects of server and storage infrastructure, including design, implementation, management and disaster recovery.
Paul is a 6 Sigma Green Belt. He earned this certification by leading a number of projects related to server consolidation, storage optimization and virtualization.
Paul has an Associate of Applied Science degree from DeVry University, and Bachelor of Science degree in Management Computer Information Systems from Park University.
