Christoph H. Schmidt has been the Senior Vice President of Planning and Information Systems at CSI Leasing, Inc., the nation’s largest, independent technology leasing company for the last four years. Prior to CSI, he was Executive Vice President of Underwriting, Loan Operations and eCommerce at SLP Capital. SLP Capital is now part of CapitalSource (a large finance company). During Mr. Schmidt’s time at SLP Capital, it was honored for five consecutive years as one of the INC Magazine’s “INC 500” fastest growing private companies. Ten years of investment banking and capital markets experience at New York banks preceded the move to St. Louis and the emphasis on using technology as a driver of business strategy.Mr. Schmidt has a B.A. with honors from Brown University and is a candidate for a master’s degree in information management at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a board member of the Society for Information Management, St. Louis Chapter and is a member of the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
A native New Yorker (although now a confirmed Midwesterner), he is an accomplished nature photographer and is actively involved with the Saint Louis Zoo as a volunteer educator and just completed seven years as a board member of the Zoo Friends Association.
