Michael Croy brings more than 30 years of experience in building, developing, and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity programs to U.S. and global organizations. Croy has helped build business continuity offerings, including risk analysis, best practice models for continuity of IT infrastructure (storage, server, and network), and disaster recovery planning, strategy, and management for both U.S. and European markets.

Croy is a frequent speaker at a variety of IT risk management forums and conferences, including national Disaster Recovery Journal, Association of Contingency Planners (ACP), CIO Summits and Continuity Insights conferences.  A highly-regarded industry expert, Croy has been quoted in such outlets as CIO, CIO Insight, Contingency Planning & Management, Disaster Recovery Journal, Federal Computer Week, Information Week, Processor, and interviewed on WBBM News Radio, Morning Business News, and has been published in CIO.com, Computerworld, Continuity Insights, Disaster Recovery Journal, Optimize, Processor and many local and regional newspapers around the country. He also serves on the Disaster Recovery Journal executive council. Croy has also served as an expert source on business continuity and disaster recovery issues to the Technology Executives Club as well as the Society for Information Management (SIM), of which he is also a member. He recently published his first book, Are We Willing to Take That Risk, which discusses the critical issues surrounding business continuity while emphasizing the human element, drawing parallels between decisions about risk and reward in life and in business.
