As Director of Computer Operations for the University of Denver, Cindy is responsible for the coordination and administration of core technology services and overall management for the University’s mission critical applications in multiple data centers. The redundant facilities assure a highly available and robust technology environment to 22,000 students, faculty and staff as well as provide the framework for IT governance and business continuity. Computer Operations also provides strategic decision-making and planning for the procurement, implementation and deployment of the University’s technology resources. Since the University’s academic and administrative technology environments are predominantly centralized, the department collaborates regularly with 13 colleges and schools as well as most administrative departments to provide the services and resources required in a higher education environment.
