Mr. Cook currently manages the Information Systems and Technologies Division for Commerce Bank, which includes application technologies, telecommunications, and other computer services. Prior to joining Commerce, Mr. Cook served as the Division Manager for the Network and Computer Services department at a bank in Columbus, Ohio.  Mr. Cook has more than thirty years of management experience in information systems and finance.

In 1961, Mr. Cook earned his Bachelors Degree in Finance at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.  Mr. Cook then attended West Coast University, Lost Angeles, California where he earned his Masters Degree in Information Systems in 1975, and his Masters of Business Administration, Financial Management in 1977.

Mr. Cook is also involved in numerous community and civic activities including UMKC Technical and Engineering School Advisory Board Member, RCTIE Board Member, Past member of the Board of Directors for the Information Systems Board of the State of Washington, appointed by the Governor, Past member of the Board of Directors for the Western States Library Network, Society of Information Management (SIM), and American Banker's Association (ABA), Wholesale Operations Committee.
