As CIO for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Scott is responsible for delivering information technology solutions and services that bring value to Ball Aerospace. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Ball Aerospace is a subsidiary of Ball Corporation. Ball Aerospace is a leader in design, development and manufacture of innovative aerospace systems. We produce spacecraft, instruments and sensors, RF and microwave technologies, data exploitation solutions and a variety of advanced aerospace technologies and products that enable exciting missions.
Scott joined Ball Aerospace in 2007 following 20 years at Honeywell Inc. Most recently he served as Vice President and CIO for Engineering & Technology for Honeywell Aerospace. From 2005 to 2006, he was the Vice President and CIO for Honeywell Engines, Systems & Services. From 2001 to 2005, he held a number of CIO/Director positions for various Honeywell business units including Air Transport Systems, Business, Regional & General Aviation, Airframe Systems, and Propulsion Systems Enterprise. In his early career with Honeywell, he led an Aviation Information Services operation and held numerous positions in engineering services in the avionics business.
Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
