Randy Cairns is the Assistant Vice President of Distributed Technology and Corporate Security Officer for American Enterprise.  American Enterprise and it's affiliates, enhance the financial security of their customers in the individual health care market by providing an array of products and services that offer choice, independence and peace of mind.  American Enterprise is a very dynamic company growing both organically and by acquisition to over a billion dollars in assets.

Randy learned project management from 8 years in the commercial construction industry.  Developing several information systems for project and job costing in the 80's, he returned to Iowa State University for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree focused on information systems.

Mr. Cairns has a wide variety of technology experience after 17 years with American Republic starting as a mainframe systems programmer.  Randy has gained broad expertise in many positions with his current responsibilities including technology infrastructure, voice communications, networks, systems, storage, image and the HelpDesk.  In January 2006, Randy accepted the additional role of Corporate Security Officer and his most recent challenges have come from a $230M acquisition. With data centers and staff now in three states, everyday brings new opportunities.

Randy enjoys implementing cost effective technology and high quality service valued by his customers. In all his spare time he enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, sailing and home improvement.
