Jeffery Buelt joined Global Ethanol as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Vice President in October of 2007. Jeff oversees the information technology division with responsibility for the deployment and support of Global Ethanol’s computing resources, applications, database systems, network, and infrastructure for the corporate offices in Minneapolis and for the plants located in Iowa and Michigan.

Prior to joining Global Ethanol, Jeff spent over nine years with Pro Staff, a professional staffing firm, holding various management positions and serving as director of IT. He has a broad based information technology background with experience in programming, database systems, large ERP systems, and consulting. Jeff received a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods and Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
