Jim Bristow is Vice President of IT at Seagate Technology. (NYSE: STX), a position he has held since October 2004. Jim is responsible for Seagate's 2 Corporate Datacenters in Oklahoma and Singapore, Global Networks, Messaging, Helpdesk, virus and desktop management, and IT campus management for 8 US sites.

Seagate is the worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of hard disk drives. Hard drives are used as the primary medium for storing electronic information in systems ranging from desktop computers and consumer electronics to data centers delivering information over corporate networks and the Internet. They produce a broad range of hard drive products that make them the leader in the enterprise, desktop and consumer electronics markets.

Jim has worked in numerous IT position with 38 years of application development, consulting, operations, and IT management experience. He has 11 years in the insurance industry, 5 years in telephone industry, and the last 22 years in computer HW manufacturing at SUN Micro, Conner Peripherals, and Seagate Tech.
