C.E. “Duffy” Boyle

Mr. Boyle serves as the Chief Information Officer for the Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOT.Comm).  DOT.Comm is the exclusive provider of technology for Douglas County and the City of Omaha, Nebraska.  As the senior executive Duffy is responsible for the leadership and direction of the organization.

Mr. Boyle has over 30 years experience in information technology and business leadership roles. He has been a Chief Information Officer for over 10 years in dynamic, fast changing companies with significant experience leading technology initiatives in support of business goals. In addition he has participated in several corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Duffy has a broad base of technical experience in E-Commerce, software, hardware, voice and data networks. Throughout his career he has focused on the building of high performance teams and aligning them with the business to optimize their ROI in technology and deliver a competitive and strategic advantage to the business .

Prior to joining DOT.Comm in January of 2009, he led his own consulting company called A-Plus Execs. Duffy  has experience in the Marketing Research, Credit Card, Accounts Receivable Management and Insurance industries.

Mr. Boyle was named the Omaha area Chief Information Officer of the year in 2002 and has been a guest speaker at a number of technology conferences. He has his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University Nebraska at Omaha.
