Joe Blank is currently the Lead Systems Administrator with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City. He has over ten years experience in the support of windows enterprise platform. In May 2006, he was recognized for his design and implementation of BCBSKC’s Exchange deployment by Microsoft Press Customer Solution Case Studies.  Although he works with many Microsoft infrastructure products his specialty and expertise is creating, designing and deploying Virtualization. Furthermore, in 2004, he implemented a Disaster Recovery solution that allowed BCBSKC to restore their mission critical windows systems in less than 24 hours at a cold site using virtualization. His current assignment is expanding their existing virtual environment to a hot site for BCBSKC’s backup data center.
