Jacobus Energy
Joseph started working at Jacobus Energy, a regional wholesale distributor of petroleum products to both commercial and residential customers, in 1977 as an internal auditor. Over the first 20 years of his career at Jacobus, his area of expertise was in finance becoming the accounting manager and finally the Controller in 1990. In addition, during 1998 he started serving the company as the Vice President of Information Technology.
In 2001 he started concentrating solely on technology. Over the years he oversaw and managed a lot of change and initiated new technology to the company as it started to grow rapidly beginning in 2003. Two rather large initiatives were the creation of the unattended automated fueling locations and the utilization of handheld computers in the field for deliveries to customers. As part of the executive management team, he worked closely with the Board and owners aligning the business with I.T. leading to effective change.
Joseph graduated from Concordia College in 1974 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with my major being accounting and finance.
Joseph is married with three children. He enjoy's golfing, biking, working out and cooking.
