Russell Berg is the Director of Product Development for Wisconsin Independent Network (WIN) and Airstream Communications, both based in Eau Claire, WI. He is responsible for research and development of Internet and data center services that Airstream offers to its member-owner ISPs throughout the state of Wisconsin over the WIN network. Russ has over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications and data services industries, having worked at AT&T Bell Labs, several independent telephone companies, and Norlight Telecommunications. Notable projects he has contributed to include E-911 system and database implementation, ISP development, several iterations of the State of Wisconsin voice/data networks, video distance learning networks, IPTV implementations, managed network security, and data center facility development. Russ has a BSEET degree from the DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Waukesha.
