John Arechavala

John Arechavala has 29 years experience in networking infrastructure, security and architecture.  He has supported strategic communications for NATO, Department of Defense, WHCA and SAFECO Insurance Company. He has worked as a consultant for the Defense Communications Agency, Pentagon JCS and numerous Insurance firms.  John was a Senior Network Architect for SAFECO Insurance Company and later an IT Director for a SAFECO subsidiary.  John joined Carroll University in 2002 and has led several projects expanding the network while managing operational costs.  John has contributed to Computer Science Corporation data design and RD forums, PCWeek/eWeek Corporate Partner Program, TippingPoint/3COM customer advisory board and the Nortel Avaya development group.
