Vic Alonzi

Vic Alonzi is Director of Information Technology for oil and gas drilling company Helmerich & Payne.  In this role Alonzi has overall responsibility for all facets of the computing environment from interfacing with the Rig Control Systems to back office business systems.  Over his 27 year career in IT, Alonzi has had different and progressive responsibilities, starting in a programming role, migrating into operating systems then plant floor automation systems.  Later Alonzi moved into leadership roles in Technical Services, Project Management, Application Development, Application Maintenance & Support and ultimately to heading up the IT organization for a two Fortune 1000 companies.

Alonzi and his wife of 30 years have resided in Tulsa, OK for the last 15 years.  They have two children, their son a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma and their daughter a sophomore at the University of Kansas.  Alonzi has had a long term involvement with Tulsa Habitat for Humanity and currently serves on their board of directors and is the past chairman of the board.
