Allen has been in the IT field for over 17 years, with deep experience in the professional services industry. As CIO for Virchow Krause, he is responsible for the strategic IT vision for the firm, as well as managing all technology – including infrastructure, support, development and project management.
Prior to Virchow Krause, Allen was the head of technology for Digitalwork.com (an internet startup), Hospitality Resources Inc. (a $300 million outsource firm) and Donnelley Enterprise Solutions. Allen also has experience in the legal, real estate and insurance industries. He currently sits on the advisory board for Herzing College and has also been a university professor.
Allen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Michigan State University and his Master’s of Science in Communication Systems Management from Northwestern University.
