In positioning the value that IT Service Management programs offer to an organization, Pepperweed has found various exposure points, which all need to, in some form, be focused on in building the case for ITSM.
  • Return on Investment  (ROI): This is understanding how much the effort will cost, and what it will save me.  We have found this typically to be IT department focused.
  • Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): This is understanding what it costs me today, and what is will cost me tomorrow, both if I do ITSM and if I do not do ITSM.  We have found this typically to be IT and Business focused.
  • Increased capacity: This is specifically for organizations in growth mode with static IT budgets.  An example here would be a Merger.
  • Improved quality: This is specifically focused and driven by the business who is needing clarity and improved service delivery.  An example here may be an IT department needing to avoid outsource.
Pepperweed exposes what we have come across and how we have worked with our clients to find incredibly varied solutions.
